Re: converted digital cameras
Tue, October 3, 2006 - 12:22 PMI had my D-100 converted by the folks at Life Pixel. They were quick and the quality of thier work was excellent. When the camera got back to me ( within 10 days ) the cut filter was included in dust free bag ( just in case I wanted to get the process reveresed ). I have been shooting with it for 10 months. I have found no more than normal dust with in the body. The images are excellent.

Wed, October 4, 2006 - 8:10 AMYou should write to Life Pixel and see what they have to say. It appears that they modify the 8600 which is the same sensor just a different lens configuration.
